As a student at Aston University I do a module unique to only five universities in England. That module is my CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate) course. It gives an insight into the quality, managerial and ethical issues associated with the production of engineering components in a commercial environment. This is done in the context of a simulated business environment in which a team and I have to develop a new product using a variety of advanced engineering techniques.
The projects I have done in this course, over the past two years are:
• Health care project
• Timepeice project
• Windbelt project
• Moving people project
The projects have aligned me with a combination of quality patient service, team leadership and attention to detail. I work diligently to provide excellence and am known for my technical proficiency and result driven work ethic.
I am available from now until September of next year and hope to hear back soon.
